Retro Active Vintage is one of the few boutiques to create one of a kind custom garments with a vintage feel. Leslie Courreges took over from Harold “Joe” Weise nearly three years ago. Retro Active has been featured in Amelie G Magazine, Lucky Magazine, New Orleans Living, Art and Design Magazine, and on Beauty Riot. Leslie has been profiled on Queen’s of Vintage as Queen #107, she also blogs about men’s vintage fashion for Amelie G Magazine’s Style Syndicate. Retro Active Vintage works with many of the movie productions that film in Louisiana including: Eve’s Bayou, The Skeleton Key, The Butler, and Beautiful Creatures to name a few. We just finished working with the costumers for the third season of American Horror Story, and with Richard E. Grants Hotel Secrets for Sky Atlantic in the UK. We are very involved with Vintage themed events throughout New Orleans, such as, the Storming of the Sazerac, the Hotel Monteleone’s Mad Men Party, the National Lindy Hop Festival, and NOLA Girl Jam
